What is the Learning Disability Implementation Advisory Group (LDIAG)?
The Learning Disability Implementation Advisory Group (LDIAG) is key in forming Welsh Assembly policy for people with learning disabilities. It advises the Welsh Assembly Government on the needs and promotes the rights of people with learning disabilities in all areas. It produces and contributes to documents about what services people with learning disabilities should have, which, if the Minister for Health & Social Services agrees, can be issued as guidance to local authorities. Most importantly they keep learning disabilities on the agenda.
